This documentary film charts the life of Hackney resident Eddie Martin Noble (1917-2007). It examines personal historical perspectives on issues around colonisation of the Caribbean and racial inequality in post-war Britain. The story of Eddie Noble inspired the book ‘Small Island’ by Andrea Levy.
