2017/3663 210 Stoke Newington High Street N16 7HU Change of use of ground floor and basement levels from retail (Use Class A1) to cafe/restaurant (Use Class A3) including associated external works including the installation of an extraction and ventilation system and external flue to rear elevation. For the purposes of consultation only, the proposed hours of operation are 1000 to 2400 Monday to Friday and 1000 to 0100 on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank and Public Holidays (Catherine Slade 020 8356 8056)

We object to the proposed change of use which should remain A2 or A1 as the use is a defining characteristic of the commercial frontages in the Conservation Area. A proliferation of A3 uses change that characteristic - particularly in terms of times of use. We point out that the evidenced marketing has been too narrow - limited to "A2 computers/internet". A broader marketing strategy based on A2 or A1, and at a market price that is commensurate with those restricted uses and limited shop size should be undertaken.

We have no objection to the proposals provided the front elevation (which is not show in the proposed drawings) remains unchanged.

We have no objection to the proposals.

 

2018/0150 135 Dynevor Road N16 0DA Erection of a single storey ground floor rear extension, replacement of two ground floor windows on the side elevation with three rooflight windows. Removal of two existing doors on the rear elevation being replaced with four new white painted timber folding sliding doors. (Simon Chitre 020 8356 1445)
