Clapton CAAC objects to this application. This is a very undistinguished modern infill. Sticking another floor on top makes it even more obviously an eyesore. The proposed floor makes the structure visually top-heavy.

Clapton CAAC objects to this application. Over the last few months, Newlon Housing Association has submitted a fair number of applications to install uPVC windows in direct contravention of Hackney's Guidelines. The rules should be pointed out to them in the strongest of terms. You might refer them to the exemplary practice of the Peabody Trust whose three applications this month follow Hackney's Guidelines.
