2017/1752 Flat A 5 Bouverie Road N16 0AH Erection of a single storey rear extension (including a lantern rooflight) following demolition of existing rear extension (Catherine Slade 020 8356 8056)

We have no objection to the proposals (and note it is outside but adjacent to the Conservation Area)

 

2017/1482 Land Rear of Thirlmere House Howard Road N16 9PR Variation of Condition 2 (Plans) of permission 2013/1614: "Erection of six (6) terraced three-storey dwellings comprising 5 X 4- bedroom and 1 X 3-bedroom to the rear of the property along with associated car parking, cycle spaces, access and landscaping". The effect of the changes would be to place concrete tables and chairs in the front garden and to remove the requirement for a car-free development from the s106. (Nick Bovaird 0208 356 8291)

We have no objection to the proposals for tables but note there is no cover letter or statement explaning the inferred change to allow parking.

 

2017/1997 42-46 Queen Elizabeths Walk N16 0HH Erection of rear and side dormer extensions at the main roofs at Nos. 42 and 46 Queen Elizabeth's Walk, including increasing the roof ridge height of No. 42; erection of single storey rear extensions at No. 46; erection of part single-storey, part two-storey rear/side extensions to No. 42; erection of elevational alterations to No. 42, including conversion of front garage door to windows, new window to rear at first floor level and removal of rear chimney and other associated external alterations. We object to the side dormer on the north pitch and to the proportions of the other proposed dormer windows.

 

2017/1785 6B Summerhouse Road N16 0NA Erection of a rear dormer and insertion of a rooflight on the front roof slope (Catherine Slade 020 8356 8056)

We have no objection to the proposals save to note the rear extension drawings are lacking in detail.

 

2017/2088 188 Stoke Newington High Street N16 7JD Erection of three storey single family dwelling to the rear of 188 Stoke Newington High Street with associated terrace at 2nd floor level. (Louise Smith 0208 356 8061)

We object to the proposal on basis of its scale and as it is overdevelopment.

 

2017/1419 St. Mary's Community Centre 5 Defoe Road N16 0EF External alterations to include a new entrance; ground floor external play space to include screening; new plant; new glazed doors; solar shading to ground floor external play space and other associated external alterations to include new rooflights. We have no objection to the bulk of the proposals except for the two canopies/awnings to the primary (east) elevation which spoil the historic facade and provide little purpose.

 

2017/1673 161 Stoke Newington Church Street N16 0UH Replacement of shopfront with new timber shopfront including sash windows. (Sissi Yang 02083561352)

We have no objection to the proposals.

 

2017/2116 126 Hawksley Road N16 0TD Excavate basement to lower cellar floor level: erection of a single storey rear extension: erection of a single storey rear/side extension; remove chimney: erection of a rear roof dormer extension; replace all rear windows with doubled glazed timber sash; insert a rooflight to the single storey rear outrigger; replace the roof tiles and alterations to the principal fenestration. We have no objection to the proposals except for the unbalanced, lopsided window treatment to rear dormer.

 

2017/2208 10 Tauheed Close N4 2FQ Prior Approval for a Larger Homes Extension for the erection of single storey ground floor rear extension measuring up to 5.5m deep, 2.6m eaves height and 3.0m maximum height. (Sissi Yang 02083561352)

We have no objection to the proposals which is in the former filter beds area and in which we no longer consider applications. However we note the application is incorrectly classified as a PD prior notification.
