2020/3285 56 Allerton Road, N16 5UF Erection of a single-storey side/ rear extension at ground floor level; conversion of property from single dwelling to 3 self-contained flats. (Micheal Garvey)

We object to the proposal on grounds of poor overall design quality and the resultant poor quality amenity.

2020/3088 240 Albion Road, N16 9JP Erection of single storey ground floor rear extension, erection mansard roof extension, conversion to single dwelling house. (Micheal Garvey)

We have no objection to the proposals.

2020/3056 First Floor Flat, 8 Green Lanes, N16 9NB Construction of a mansard roof addition to extend the existing 1x double bedroom flat into a 3x double bedroom flat. (Claire Moore)

We object to the proposal as it does not follow design guidance for a mansard roof and the result is a large, obtrusive form of development thrust too far forward. The mansard is overdevelopment. In additions the loss of the chimney is resisted and may well be misrepresented on the plans as servicing exclusively the host property. This seems unlikely.

2020/3786 and 2020/3787 33 - 34 Newington Green, N16 9PR Reconfiguration of 3No. existing 2nd floor residential units, alterations to the existing window to front elevation to form doorway and single storey extension to 1st floor of flank elevation to extend existing stairwell . (Erin Glancy)

The flat layouts are particularly poor and are unlikely to meet building regs in current form. The impact of sound from the continued use of the club is not demonstrated and is critical to the viability of the project and the continued continued community use of the club. Altogether the project needs more detailed development on paper to demonstrate a viable proposal that justifies the change of use from ancilliarry to standalone accomodation and the impact that it has on the club use. Given the fundamental nature of soundproofing and viability to the principle of development they cannot reasonably be dealt with through conditions. Broady we are supportive of the continued community and club use which is the paramount consideration. Money spent now on a decent feasibility study would be well spent by the applicant as a holistic study to preserve the long term viability is essential to any application.

2020/3441 & 2020/3456 183 Stoke Newington High Street, N16 0LH The replacement of the existing timber sash windows on the second and loft levels. The proposed windows are to match existing. (Erin Glancy)

We have no objection to the proposals. Though we note we would expect better longevity of any replacement windows than the c20 years of the current windows which presumably are now inadequate.

2020/3596 Woodberry Down Early Years Centre Springpark Drive, N4 2NP Remodelling and extensions to the Grade II listed Nursery Building annex of the John Scott Health Centre including; the addition of a single storey extension to the south west and a two storey extension to the east of the nursery building; various internal and external alterations to the fabric of the building including alterations to internal and external openings and walls, building up of part of roof and replacement of rooflights; and associated works including hard and soft landscaping and provision of bicycle parking and refuse stores (Listed Building Consent). For information only - the application includes the demolition of the 'Lilliput Building', a two storey temporary structure to the north east of the site. (Catherine Slade)

We have no objection to the proposals subject to samples of materials being secured by condition.
